TOP 1.51

After much collaboration a complete English version of the packet software The Other Packet (TOP) by DF8MT, version 1.51 is being released for the first time.

TOP version 1.51 features:

• Multiple configurations (more than one user, etc.)

• Will run on an XT-class computer
• Auto-connections even via several nodes
• Auto-connections based on past connections and MH list
• Auto-logging
• Country/distance/direction data displayed for DX-cluster connections
• Automatic tracking of BBS messages
• Autobin and 7+ file compatibility and automatic decoding
• YAPP possible
• Unproto operation possible
• Easily configured for a variety of TNCs and BayCom-style modems
• Usable with more than one TNC/modem at a time
• Extensive on-line help (abt. 350k)
• File manager
• Responds to many different password systems
• Automatic character conversion for various languages
• Full macro language
• Similar command structure to SP, Baycom, etc.
• Usable with TFPCX/R, TFX, TFEMU (Flexnet) software drivers
• Easy access to "servers" or add-on programs in a separate RUN directory
• Setup and configuration program included
• Can be used with your choice of editor (one is provided)
• Morse code and synthetic voice possible (good for blind hams)
