The `frupee' package provides \LaTeX\ support for the Rupee symbol
created by TechFat, \url{http://techfat.blogspot.com/}

The font is transformed into Type~1 format using FontForge.

The \LaTeX\ support is created by Palle Jorgensen,
hamselv(a)pallej.dk.
